Did you hear that John Carter of Texas introduced a bill that would allow all U.S. taxpayers the same immunity from IRS penalties and interest as Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. Under the proposed “Rangel Rule Act of 2009,” any taxpayer who wrote “Rangel Rule” on their return when paying back taxes would be immune from penalties and interest.
Of course it won't pass, but it does make a good point (of course the left won't get it though)...
