Good News for Liberals and Socialists

There is good news for socialists and liberals, today. Economic reports are showing that big, evil capitalistic corporations are not making their huge windfall profits this year. Finally, Obama has made progress in punishing these horrible entities.

America can rejoice.

Oh, yes. In totally unrelated news, unemployment is on the rise again. We are inching ever closer to that 10% mark, nationally. I don't know how this could have possibly happened, given all the other great economic news we've had lately.

Oh, yes. In more totally unrelated news, in spite of the fact that the government is spending three times as much money this year as it has ever spent, revenues are down. Tax revenues are expected to fall by more than any time since the Great Depression. I don't know how this could have happened, given all the other great economic news that we've had lately.
