Where is the ACLU When You Need Them?

The ACLU is all over anything that even comes close to a blurring of religion and state. Pray in a school setting? Forget about it.

So I wonder, where is the ACLU today. Obama, The One, The Messiah, has been elevated to religious cult status. And now he's addressing our public school children.

Shouldn't the ACLU be all over this one?

The ACLU will be silent as Obama is one of their own.

That organization needs new initials.

TC, he's not the first prez do to this. Reagan had a partisan speech, and George H.W. said basically the same thing that Obama did.

Nothing to see here.

James, you need to take your sarcasm filter off. This post was intended as a nod toward the cult of Obama Worship as a religion, and less as a commentary on the speech itself.

Frankly, where I have a problem with the speech itself, is where I suspect a lot of others have a problem with it. That is this: The National Education Association fought against everything Reagan, Bush 41 and Bush 43 stood for, to the point of teachers indoctrinating students to "hate" the president and the office. With Obama, they worked with the administration to develop "teaching points" to indoctrinate students into the idea of helping and supporting Obama. It's the double standard that sucks.

I never had any teacher try to get me to hate any of them. In fact, I had elementary teachers telling me how "evil" Clinton was. I went to a Christian college, and most professors there practically were weeping with joy when Bush 43 was reelected...so I personally haven't had any experience with the Obama personality cult. I've had Christian profs and relatives practically worship republicanism, however.

Hyprocrisy runs both ways...

On that note, when Bush 41 did this same thing, there were Democrats accusing him of indoctrination, too.
