Petition against Limbaugh
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched an online petition to express "outrage" at Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh for expressing his opinion on the airwaves.
With our nation in crisis, and getting worse as a result of Obama pushing a horrendous spending package which Wall Street investors know will fail, the Democrats are using Limbaugh as a distraction from what they are doing and what they are not doing.
Obama warned Republican leaders on Capitol Hill that they need to quit listening to Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration. I don't know how Obama intends to monitor whether or not Republicans listen to Limbaugh or not, but apparently he does.
Of course, the reality is that saying "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," really is code for "You have to abandon your principles and agree with us if you want to succeed in Washington in 2009."
I can't count the blogs and newspaper letters to the editor of people who have heard the reports of LImbaugh wanting Obama to fail and talking about how horrible that is. They don't research far enough to understand that what Limbaugh wants if for America to succeed in the short term and the long term as a nation. Limbaugh believes that the policies of Obama will fail and therefore, his hope is that Obama will fail so that America can succeed. There is nothing wrong or unpatriotic in that. In fact, that is the essence of free speech and open debate.
Maybe that's why the Democrats want to demonize Limbaugh. They aren't really interested in America discussing or debating the issues. They simply want to ram the administrations' agenda down our throats without discussion or dissent.

It's another Democrat/Socialist smokescreen. "Pay not attention to the man in office". Let's focus everyone on the blunt radio host. Yeah, that's what's going to fix this country. Then again the Dems may be counting on America's short attention span and attraction to all things shallow (ie, the color of Paris Hilton's new Bently).
