A Quick Thought On Sotomayer
If the Obama administration has shown us anything, it has shown us how to not pick nominees. That said, the first question on everyone's mind about Sonia Sotomayer should not be her race or her stance on constitutional issues. The first question on everyone's mind should be "How much in back taxes does she owe, and how will she explain it?"

I'm pretty sure she doesn't owe anything.
She's actually a good choice: a centrist, not tied down by party lines. She was considered heavily by George W. Bush for the same position. He was appointed in the first place by George H.W. Bush.
It doesn't make either Bush right for wanting her in office particularly if she's an activist judge.
She's not an "activist" judge.
She's viewed by the American Bar Association as a Centrist.
She doesn't judge on party lines but on precendent.
The American Bar Association ... there's an unbiased group if I ever saw one.
LOL
From Wikipedia:
The American Bar Association (ABA), founded August 21, 1878,[1] is a voluntary bar association of lawyers and law students, which is not specific to any jurisdiction in the United States.
They are the ones that govern judges. She's actually had a pretty centrist career, judging from past legal precendent. I know the right would like her to be, well, a conservative, but that wouldn't be unbiased.
