King: Too Much Jacko

As others have pointed out this week, there has been way too much coverage of the death of Michael Jackson. Way too much.

Now someone famous has said it.

U.S. Congressman Peter King called Michael Jackson a "pervert" and called on society to stop glorifying him.

I've never heard of Peter King before, but he's right.

The only thing about Jackson I want to hear are the jokes....

  • It's sad that when people hear the name Michael Jackson, they only think of a child molester who had a lot of surgeries. Michael Jackson was an icon who help erase the boundaries of racism. He was a black performer that appealed to a lot of white people, then, later in life he was a white performer who appealed to a lot of black people.
  • The EMS workers who were called to help Michael Jackson knew he was in trouble when they couldn't get his color back.
  • Michael Jackson cannot be cremated because he has too much plastic (toxic fumes). Instead he's going to be melted down and made into legos; that way children can play with him for a change.
  • Michael Jackson's son, Prince Michael, wants to change his name. He now wants to be called "The Child formerly Known as Prince Michael."
Got more?

Our society glorifies decadence in our heroes. Look no further than Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and friends.

Michael: Some good music, but no loss.
