Jesse Jackson, Jr Investigated In Scandal
The Chicago Sun-Times is now reporting that the Office of Congressional ethics has begun an investigation into Rep. Jesse Jackson's role in the effort of then-Governor Rod Blagojevich to sell the US Senate seat of Barack Obama (sans tele-prompter).
Apparently, the ethics probe has found evidence that Jackson, or supporters on his behalf, had promised to pay Blagojevich up to six million dollars (some of that in the form of campaign contributions) if he would appoint Jackson to the U.S. Senate.
The Associated Press picked up the story from the Chicago paper and scrubbed the fact that Jackson and Blagojevich are democrats. Perhaps, they assumed that people would know that if a big scandal was going on, the Democrats would have to be at the center of it.

That apple didn't fall far from the tree.
But I fear nothing will happen to this thug.
